ICAI waives off 75% registration fees for students from special states and UTs

Announcement: 75% Concession in Registration Course Fee for all levels of CA Courses for the Candidates/ Students from Newly formed Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh and for 8 North-Eastern States.

Candidates/Students from newly formed Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and 8 North-East States, namely, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura may note that with effect from from 20th September, 2019, ICAI has waived off 75% fee for the students registering from these Union Territories and States for all levels of CA Course i.e. Foundation, Intermediate and Final.

The following fee needs to be paid by the above categories of students:

The said concession will be permissible for the candidates/ students who will be enrolling till 31st March, 2022. All other Fees except the registration fee mentioned above will have to be paid by the beneficiary student.

Candidates/Students would need to upload domicile certificate/ permanent resident certificate, proof of identity like Adhaar card, Passport, Voter ID, Driving License, and Ration Card for availing the fee concession.

FAQ :

Students registering for the CA course from the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, and the North-Eastern states (Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura) are eligible.

The concession applies to the registration fees for all levels of the CA Course: Foundation, Intermediate, and Final.

The concession is permissible for students enrolling until March 31, 2022.

Yes, all other fees apart from the registration fee mentioned are to be paid by the beneficiary student.
