The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially resumed the Self-Paced Online Module (SPOM) Examinations. This announcement supersedes the earlier notification dated May 9, 2025, which had postponed the exams due to security concerns.
As per the latest update released by CA Anand Kumar Chaturvedi, Joint Secretary (Examinations), ICAI has decided to restart the SPOM examinations from May 15, 2025, onwards, citing an improved and favourable security environment across the country.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Resumption of Chartered Accountants Self-Paced Online Module (SPOM) Examination In supersession of the announcement dated 9th May 2025 postponing Self Paced Online Module examinations from 9th May 2025 till further communications, it is hereby, announced for general information that in view of the favourable security situation in the country, the Self-Paced Online Module (SPOM) examinations of Chartered Accountants stand resumed from 15th May 2025 and onwards .
