The ICAI has reduced the fees for verification of answer books and for obtaining certified copies of answer books for CA examinations.
The revised fee structure will apply to examination results declared from January 2026 onwards.
The fee for verification of answer books has been reduced from Rs 100 per paper to Rs 50 per paper.
The fee for certified copies of answer books has been reduced from Rs 500 per paper to Rs 100 per paper.
The revised fees apply to CA Foundation, CA Intermediate, CA Final, and Post Qualification Course (PQC) examinations.
The announcement was issued by the ICAI on December 18, 2025, and confirmed by Anand Kumar Chaturvedi, Joint Secretary (Examinations).
