While digital finance offers accessibility, it also presents vulnerabilities such as phishing, impersonation, fraudulent investment schemes, and misinformation. The growing sophistication of AI amplifies these risks.
ICAI is actively promoting financial literacy through initiatives like Vittiya Gyan - ICAI Ka Abhiyaan, Vittiya Gyan Melas, Investor Awareness Programmes, and targeted financial & tax literacy campaigns, reaching various community segments.
ICAI is strengthening international engagement, including progress on professional pathways with the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA), offering exemptions for ICAI members. The hosting of the IFAC Board Meeting in India also highlights the growing global role of Indian CAs.
