ICAI welcomed a total of 8,964 newly enrolled Chartered Accountants at the Convocation.
The Convocation ceremonies were held simultaneously across 23 locations in India, including major cities like New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai, among others.
Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, the Hon'ble Union Minister of State (IC) of Law and Justice and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, was the Chief Guest at the Convocation in Delhi.
The ICAI President congratulated the new CAs, stressed the importance of valuing family support, and encouraged continuous learning, highlighting that the 'CA' designation represents trust, credibility, responsibility, and accountability.
ICAI organises Convocation ceremonies twice every year to formally welcome newly enrolled members into the Chartered Accountancy fraternity.
According to the Vice-President, the 'CA' identity signifies a great responsibility, carrying the expectations and trust of society, and calls for a commitment to excellence, independence, and integrity.
