FAQ :
Eligible ICAI members can apply, provided they meet criteria such as being under 65 years old, having their name on the Register of Members since March 2024, not having relatives appearing in the exams, not coaching students, and having no pending disciplinary proceedings or association with ICAI committees.
The CA Intermediate exams are in September, the CA Foundation exams are in early September, and the CA Final exams are in November 2026. Specific dates for other courses like INTT-AT and IRM are also in November 2026.
Observers will receive an honorarium of Rs 5,000 per day/per session, plus Rs 500 per day for local travel conveyance reimbursement.
Observers supervise the collection and distribution of question papers, conduct identity verification, monitor the examination process, and ensure answer books are properly handed over for dispatch. They must also submit daily online reports.
The last date to apply for Observer empanelment is 30th June 2026.
Members who have served as Observers for three consecutive examination attempts must take a break for one attempt before becoming eligible to apply again.
