FAQ :

ICAI has mandated Chartered Accountants (CAs) to file a 'Know Your Members' (KYM) form annually, starting from the 2023-2024 period.

The KYM form, also known as 'Know Your Member', is an annual application that members must submit to ICAI to provide their updated information and documents.

CAs must file the KYM form through the ICAI's Self-Service Portal (SSP). The process involves logging in, navigating to Member Functions, and selecting the KYM Form.

Members need to be ready with scanned documents relevant to their Membership Type and Status, as well as a passport-size colour photograph with a clear white background.

Scanned documents (JPG/PDF) should not exceed 1 MB, and the photograph and signature should not be more than 80 KB.

If the KYM form is opened but not successfully submitted, it will be available under the 'Pending / Submitted/ Ask for correction pending application' option in the Member Module on the Self-Service Portal.
