The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued an advisory to its members and students regarding COVID-19. As a precautionary measure, all programmes, classes, and gatherings requiring physical presence organised by ICAI branches and committees are restricted with immediate effect until April 15, 2020. Additionally, the mandatory structured CPE learning hours that can be completed via e-learning have been extended.
An Advisory by the ICAI Central Council regarding avoiding large gathering as a precautionary measure to prevent any spread of COVID-19 was issued on the 12th of March. Here is what the advisory read.
