The Board of Studies (Academic) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has invited Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced professionals, academicians, and subject experts for empanelment as faculty members for its Live Virtual Classes (LVC) programme. The application window will remain open until June 24, 2026.
The initiative aims to strengthen ICAI's educational ecosystem, which currently supports approximately 11.5 lakh Chartered Accountancy aspirants across Foundation, Intermediate, and Final levels through study materials, e-books, physical classes, and virtual learning platforms.

Opportunity for Experienced Professionals
According to the notification issued by the Board of Studies (Academic), the institute is seeking qualified resource persons, faculty members, and subject experts who can contribute to shaping the next generation of Chartered Accountants through online teaching and mentoring.
ICAI highlighted several benefits for empanelled faculty members, including the opportunity to contribute to professional education, gain recognition within the accounting community, and enhance communication, presentation, and leadership skills through active engagement with students.

The institute has prescribed different qualification and experience requirements based on the level and subject being taught.
- For Foundation-level subjects, applicants generally need a minimum of three years of teaching or work experience along with relevant professional or postgraduate qualifications.

The notification further notes that candidates holding a Ph.D. in Commerce, Management, Business Administration, Law, Organizational Communication, or related disciplines will have an added advantage during the selection process.
Application Process
Interested professionals can submit their Expression of Interest through the online application form provided by ICAI. The last date for submission is June 24, 2026.
However, ICAI has clarified that applicants who had submitted an EOI during the immediately preceding 2025 empanelment cycle are not eligible to apply in the current cycle and can reapply only after completing a cooling-off period of one cycle. Applications submitted in violation of this condition may be rejected.
Strengthening CA Education Through Digital Learning
The move reflects ICAI's continued focus on expanding quality digital education for CA students across India. With live virtual classes becoming an integral part of professional education, the institute is seeking experienced educators who can bridge the gap between academic learning and practical industry knowledge.
The empanelment process is expected to bring more subject experts into ICAI's virtual classroom ecosystem, benefiting lakhs of students preparing for one of India's most rigorous professional examinations.
