The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released the examination schedule for CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final courses for the September-November 2026 session. The announcement provides clarity on exam dates, application timelines, fees, and exam centres across India and overseas.
As per the notification dated May 2, 2026, the exams will be conducted subject to sufficient candidate registrations across designated centres.

CA Exam Dates 2026
The schedule for various courses is as follows:
- CA Foundation Exam: September 2, 5, 7, and 9, 2026
- CA Intermediate Exam:
- Group I: September 1, 3, and 6
- Group II: September 8, 10, and 12
- CA Final Exam:
- Group I: November 2, 4, and 6
- Group II: November 9, 11, and 13
Additionally, ICAI will conduct post-qualification examinations such as the International Taxation Assessment Test (INTT-AT) and Insurance & Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination in November 2026.
Application Process & Important Dates
Candidates must apply online through ICAI's Self-Service Portal (SSP). The key dates are:
- Start of application: July 6, 2026
- Last date without late fee: July 19, 2026
- Last date with late fee: July 22, 2026
- Correction window: July 23-25, 2026
Late applications will attract a fee of Rs 600 or US $10 for overseas centres.
Examination Fees
- Foundation: Rs 1500 (India)
- Intermediate: Rs 1500 (single group), Rs 2700 (both groups)
- Final: Rs 1800 (single group), Rs 3300 (both groups)
- Post Qualification Exams (INTT-AT / IRM): Rs 2000
Fees vary for overseas centres including Dubai, Bahrain, and Kathmandu.
Exam Centres
The exams will be conducted across multiple cities in India, including major centres like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, and Guwahati, along with several tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
Overseas exam centres include Dubai, Bahrain, and Kathmandu, ensuring accessibility for international candidates.
Exam Timings & Guidelines
- Most papers will be of 3 hours duration, while certain papers like Foundation Paper 3 & 4 will be 2 hours.
- Advanced reading time of 15 minutes will be provided for most papers.
- Importantly, ICAI has clarified that exam schedules will not change even if a public holiday is declared during the examination period.
