ICAI Announces Mock Test Papers Series I & II for CA Foundation May 2026 Exams

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), through its Board of Studies (Academic), has officially announced the Mock Test Papers (MTP) Series I and Series II for students appearing in the CA Foundation May 2026 examination . The initiative aims to help students strengthen their preparation through exam-oriented practice under real examination conditions.

As per the announcement dated 22 January 2026 , MTP Series I will commence from 13 April 2026 , while Series II will begin from 23 April 2026 . The mock tests will be conducted in both physical and virtual modes , offering flexibility to students across the country.

Students opting for the physical mode can register through ICAI branches and regional offices. Meanwhile, students appearing in virtual mode can download the question papers from the BoS Knowledge Portal or the ICAI BoS Mobile App as per the notified schedule.

Series I

• 13 April 2026 - Paper 1: Accounting (2 PM - 5 PM)
• 16 April 2026 - Paper 2: Business Laws (2 PM - 5 PM)
• 18 April 2026 - Paper 3: Quantitative Aptitude (2 PM - 4 PM)
• 20 April 2026 - Paper 4: Business Economics (2 PM - 4 PM)

Series II

• 23 April 2026 - Paper 1: Accounting (2 PM - 5 PM)
• 25 April 2026 - Paper 2: Business Laws (2 PM - 5 PM)
• 27 April 2026 - Paper 3: Quantitative Aptitude (2 PM - 4 PM)
• 29 April 2026 - Paper 4: Business Economics (2 PM - 4 PM)

The question papers will be uploaded by 1:30 PM on the respective exam dates. ICAI has also confirmed that answer keys will be released within 48 hours of each paper, enabling students to self-evaluate their performance and identify areas for improvement.

Students wishing to appear for physical mock tests must register on the BoS MTP Registration Portal and coordinate with their nearest ICAI branch or regional council. This structured mock test series is expected to play a crucial role in helping CA Foundation aspirants fine-tune their exam strategy ahead of the May 2026 attempt.
