The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), through its Board of Studies (Academic), has announced the schedule for Mock Test Paper (MTP) Series I and Series II for students appearing in the CA Intermediate September 2026 examinations. The initiative is aimed at helping students assess their preparation levels and gain examination-oriented practice before the upcoming exams.
Mock Test Series to Begin from July 25
As per the announcement dated June 25, 2026, Mock Test Paper Series I will commence from July 25, 2026, while Series II will begin from August 8, 2026. The mock tests will be conducted in both physical and virtual modes, giving students flexibility in choosing their preferred format. Students interested in appearing physically can register through ICAI branches and regional offices in their respective areas.

How Students Can Access Question Papers and Answer Keys
ICAI has informed that question papers for each subject will be uploaded on the BoS Knowledge Portal and the BoS MTP Registration Portal by 9:30 AM on the scheduled test date. Students are encouraged to download the papers and attempt them within the prescribed examination duration.
To facilitate self-evaluation, answer keys for each paper will be uploaded within 48 hours of the commencement of the respective examination. This will allow students to compare their responses, identify mistakes, and evaluate their readiness for the September 2026 CA Intermediate examinations.
Registration Process for MTP Portal
Students wishing to participate can register through the BoS MTP Registration Portal by following these steps:
- Click on "Student Login".
- New users should select "Register Now".
- Enter ICAI Registration Number and Date of Birth.
- Provide the registered Email ID as available in SSP records.
- Verify the OTP received on the registered email to complete login.
