In a major boost to exam preparedness, the Board of Studies (Academic) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the Mock Test Papers (MTP) Series I and Series II for students appearing in the CA Intermediate May 2026 examinations.
As per the announcement dated 20 January 2026, Mock Test Paper Series I will commence from 16 March 2026, while Series II will begin from 2 April 2026. These mock tests are designed to help CA Intermediate students assess their exam readiness under simulated examination conditions.
Mode of Conduct: Physical & Virtual
ICAI has clarified that the MTPs will be conducted in both physical and virtual modes.
- Students opting for the physical mode can approach their respective ICAI branches.
- Those preferring virtual mode can download the question papers online and attempt them within the prescribed time.
Subject-wise Schedule
The mock tests will cover all six papers of CA Intermediate, including:
- Advanced Accounting
- Corporate and Other Laws
- Taxation
- Cost and Management Accounting
- Auditing and Ethics
- Financial Management & Strategic Management
Each paper will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, mirroring actual exam conditions.
Question Papers & Answer Keys
ICAI has informed that:
- Question Papers will be uploaded on the BoS Knowledge Portal by 9:30 AM on the day of the test.
- Answer Keys will be made available within 48 hours of the commencement of each paper.
Students can self-evaluate their performance by comparing their responses with the official answer keys.
