The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released the timetable for the Chartered Accountants Foundation, Intermediate, and Final Examinations to be conducted in January 2026. Alongside, the schedules for Post Qualification Course (PQC) exams including International Taxation - Assessment Test (INTT-AT) and Insurance and Risk Management (IRM) Technical Examination have also been announced.
Exam Dates and Groups

No exams will be held on January 14, 2026, in observance of Makar Sankranti / Magha Bihu / Pongal.
Exam Timings
- Foundation (Papers 1 & 2): 2 PM - 5 PM (3 hours)
- Foundation (Papers 3 & 4): 2 PM - 4 PM (2 hours)
- Intermediate & Final (most papers): 2 PM - 5 PM (3 hours)
- Final Paper 6 & INTT-AT: 2 PM - 6 PM (4 hours)
A 15-minute advance reading time will be available for most descriptive papers.
Exam Centres
The CA exams will be conducted in over 290 cities across India including major hubs like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Pune. Additionally, exams will also be held at 9 overseas centres: Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, Muscat, Riyadh (KSA), and Thimphu (Bhutan).

Application Window:
- Opens - November 3, 2025
- Closes (without late fee) - November 16, 2025
- Closes (with late fee of ₹600 / $10) - November 19, 2025
- Correction window - November 20-22, 2025
Fees:
- Foundation - ₹1500 (India), $325 (Overseas), ₹2200 (Nepal/Bhutan)
- Intermediate - ₹1500 (Single Group), ₹2700 (Both Groups)
- Final - ₹1800 (Single Group), ₹3300 (Both Groups)
- INTT-AT & IRM - ₹2000 each
Students must apply online via the Self Service Portal (SSP) at eservices.icai.org.
Medium of Exam
Candidates can opt for English or Hindi for Foundation, Intermediate, and Final examinations. However, PQC exams (INTT-AT and IRM) will be conducted only in English.
Key Advisory
ICAI has emphasized that the exam schedule will not change even if any of the dates are later declared public holidays. Students are advised to stay updated through the official ICAI website www.icai.org.
