The GST Network (GSTN) has issued an advisory regarding the implementation of Phase-III for reporting HSN codes in Table 12 of GSTR-1 and GSTR-1A, effective from the January 2025 return period. This phase replaces manual HSN entry with a dropdown selection and bifurcates Table 12 into B2B and B2C supplies tabs. New validations for supply and tax amounts have also been introduced, though they will initially be in warning mode.
