The Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) has announced an expansion of payment methods, now accepting UPI and debit/credit cards for GST payments. This service is currently available in 15 states and Union Territories, including major regions like Delhi, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Uttar Pradesh. The expansion aims to make GST payments more convenient for taxpayers across India.
GSTN issued an update on its Twitter Handle dated 11th March 2024 as follows
Now GST payments through UPI & Debit/Credit Cards are available in 15 states/UTs.

This is applicable for all UPIs, Credit/Debit cards powered by Rupay, MasterCard, Visa and Diners via Kotak Mahindra Bank.
