GSTN issued an update on its Twitter Handle dated 11th March 2024 as follows

Now GST payments through UPI & Debit/Credit Cards are available in 15 states/UTs.

GSTN Expands Payment Options: UPI and Debit/Credit Cards Now Accepted in 15 States/UTs

The list of states are as follows

  1. Assam
  2. Delhi    
  3. Goa
  4. Gujarat
  5. Haryana    
  6. Himachal Pradesh
  7. Jharkhand    
  8. Karnataka    
  9. Kerala
  10. Madhya Pradesh
  11. Maharashtra    
  12. Odisha
  13. Rajasthan    
  14. Tripura    
  15. Uttar Pradesh

Rest of India and Banks to be covered soon.

GSTN Expands Payment Options: UPI & Debit/Credit Cards Now Accepted in 15 States/UTs

This is applicable for all UPIs, Credit/Debit cards powered by Rupay, MasterCard, Visa and Diners via Kotak Mahindra Bank.
