The new official email ID domains are gov.in and nic.in.
All Customs and GST officials must switch to gov.in/nic.in email IDs for official communication by February 1, 2024.
The gov.in/nic.in email IDs are maintained by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) and adhere to the Government of India's Email policy.
