India's Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue saw a significant increase in September 2026, reaching Rs 2.04 lakh crore, a 14.7% rise compared to the previous year. This growth was driven by a 25.9% surge in import-related GST revenue, while domestic GST collections grew by 10.1%. Overall net GST revenue after refunds increased by 18.1%.
Indias Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections continued to show strong growth in September 2026, with gross GST revenue rising 14.7% year-on-year to Rs 2,03,521 crore, compared with Rs 1,77,365 crore collected in September 2025.
