Finance Ministry Sets 7.1% Interest Rate for Special Deposit Scheme for Q1 FY 2026-27

The Ministry of Finance, through its Department of Economic Affairs, has announced that deposits under the Special Deposit Scheme for Non-Government Provident, Superannuation and Gratuity Funds will earn an interest rate of 7.1% for the first quarter of FY 2026-27.
