The Mandatory 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) requirement for taxpayers with an Aggregate Annual Turnover (AATO) above 100 Crores has been extended until August 20, 2023. This extension is granted for the last time based on requests from some of the taxpayers.
After August 20, 2023, there will be no further extension provided for the 2FA requirement. Hence, taxpayers falling under the specified criteria are advised to register for 2FA immediately to comply with the new regulation. Additionally, creating sub-users is recommended to manage EWB activities smoothly.
