Extension of ICSI ECSIN Amnesty Scheme till 30th June 2021

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India in view of the unprecedented conditions prevailing in the country due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic has decided to extend the ICSI ECSIN Amnesty Scheme 2021 till 30th June 2021. Read the official announcement below:

Dear Professional Colleague,

The Institute has issued the ICSI (Employee Company Secretaries Identification Number) Guidelines, 2019 effective from October 1, 2019 to enable the Institute to identify a Company Secretary employed in a particular organisation and bring more transparency.

The Institute has launched ECSIN Amnesty Scheme, 2021 from April 20, 2021 to May 15, 2021 considering the practical problems and other difficulties being faced by the members and subsequently extended the Scheme from time to time upto June 15, 2021 in view of the second wave of Covid-19.

The Institute is being approached by members to extend the ECSIN Amnesty Scheme, 2021 since they could not avail the benefit under the Amnesty Scheme, 2021 by the last date i.e. June 15, 2021 due to personal difficulties and persisting lockdown situation in the Country due to Covid-19.

Extension of ICSI ECSIN Amnesty Scheme till 30th June 2021

The Institute in view of the above and unprecedented conditions prevailing in the country has decided to extend the ICSI ECSIN Amnesty Scheme 2021 till June 30, 2021.

All active ECSIN generated from the effective date of ECSIN Guidelines i.e. 1st October, 2019 and to be generated upto the validity of the scheme i.e. June 30,2021 shall be eligible for the purpose of this Scheme. Other conditions of the Amnesty Scheme shall remain the same.

Kindly note that this shall be the last opportunity to avail benefit under the ECSIN Amnesty Scheme, 2021.
