Empanelment of “Writers” for Chartered Accountants examination

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, second largest accounting body of the world with about 4,50,000 candidates appearing in the Chartered Accountants examination twice a year in the months of May and November, conducts Common Proficiency Test (CPT), Intermediate (IPC) and Final examinations in about 400 centres spread over 158 cities throughout India and four cities abroad which normally last for 15 days.

The Institute offers compensatory time and/or writer (scribe) for the differently abled examinees in the said examinations. The Institute is in the process of empanelling writers (scribes) and accordingly invites applications from eligible persons who are studying in recognized schools, colleges and other educational institutions for empanelment as “Writers” in the following cities:

Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Kanpur, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Indore and Ludhiana.

The eligibility for becoming a writer is given below:

The writer will be paid an honorarium of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred only) per paper/two sessions of CPT.
