The CGST Delhi East Commissionerate recently held a successful two-day GST Registration Campaign on 21st-22nd March 2025. The initiative aimed to increase GST compliance by encouraging unregistered manufacturers and traders to register. During the campaign, GST officers addressed over 2,000 queries and facilitated more than 100 new GST registrations. The event also involved 200 university students as GST Ambassadors who distributed informational pamphlets and raised awareness among local businesses.

Public announcements, skits, street plays, and mohalla campaigns were organised by the National School of Drama (NSD) team to inform people about tax payment importance and consequences of non-payment.
