The Department of Expenditure has released the sixth monthly instalment of the Post Devolution Revenue Deficit (PDRD) Grant, amounting to Rs 7,183.42 crore, to 14 states. This release, based on the Fifteenth Finance Commission's recommendations, brings the total PDRD grants disbursed in the current financial year to Rs 43,100.50 crore. The total grant recommended for these 14 states for the financial year 2022-23 is Rs 86,201 crore, distributed in 12 equal monthly instalments.
