The e-processing facility will be available from 1st May 2025.
The e-processing covers gems and jewellery, as well as samples and prototypes of machinery.
Nine airports will offer this service for exports: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Kochi, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Jaipur.
Seven airports will offer this service for imports: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Jaipur.
This facility is initially available at Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, and Mumbai airports.
All personal carriage imports and exports will be subject to the provisions of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023 and Handbook of Procedures (HBP), 2023.
