CBIC extends deadline of GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C for FY 2020-21

GSTR-9 and 9C Deadline Extended to Feb 2022

The due date for furnishing annual return in FORM GSTR-9 & self-certified reconciliation statement in FORM GSTR-9C for the financial year 2020-21 has been extended from 31.12.2021 to 28.02.2022. Notification No.40/2021-Central Tax dated 29.12.2021 to this effect has been issued.

The new deadline for furnishing GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C for the financial year 2020-21 is 28th February 2022.

The original deadline for furnishing GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C for FY 2020-21 was 31st December 2021.

The deadline has been extended for the annual return in FORM GSTR-9 and the self-certified reconciliation statement in FORM GSTR-9C.
