Overview
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the results of the CA Foundation September 2026 examination. According to the official press release, a total of 1,04,240 candidates appeared for the examination, out of which 19,736 candidates successfully qualified, taking the overall pass percentage to 18.93%. The examination was conducted across 580 centres. Among male candidates, 10,931 out of 53,398 passed, recording a pass percentage of 20.47%. Meanwhile, 8,805 out of 50,842 female candidates qualified, with a pass percentage of 17.32%. The results reflect a higher qualification rate among male candidates compared to female candidates in this examination session.
The CA Foundation September 2026 results have highlighted the achievements of top-performing candidates who demonstrated exceptional academic performance in the examination. The toppers' list showcases the students who secured the highest marks, reflecting their dedication, preparation and strong understanding of the CA Foundation syllabus.
The September 2026 CA Foundation results witnessed an impressive performance by five candidates who secured the top three All India Ranks. Kansika from Hisar and Mahek Gupta from Hyderabad jointly emerged as the national toppers, scoring 361 out of 400 marks each, equivalent to 90.25%. Sparsh Khandelwal from Ajmer and J Jayanth from Chennai jointly secured AIR 2 with 359 marks (89.75%), while Vaibhavi Singhal from Gwalior secured AIR 3 with 358 marks (89.50%).
