We are pleased to share with you that the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India through its erstwhile Committee on Financial Markets and Investors’ Protection (now Banking, Financial Services and Insurance Committee) is conducting Investor Awareness Programmes under the aegis of Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA), Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has appointed the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India as the nodal agency for the noble cause of Investor Awareness and mandated us to conduct Investor Awareness Programmes across the country. Investor Awareness Programmes are being regularly conducted by ICAI through its POUs/ empanelled Resource Persons on pan India basis. Investor Awareness Programs are conducted to enhance the ability of investors to understand broad developments in the country having bearing on corporate sector & capital market, educate the investors’ on their rights and responsibilities, make investors’ aware of grievances handling mechanism and different agencies to be approached for redressal. The programmes are receiving overwhelming response from public at large.
So far, ICAI has organized more than 5,000 programmes across India. This year too, ICAI through its Banking, Financial Services and Insurance Committee intends to organise many IAP’s on PAN India basis.
ICAI invites proposals from members of ICAI, ICSI, ICWAI, Retired ICLS officers, Teacher, Professors of Commerce/ Economics having knowledge and flair of capital market and public speaking skills for acting as Resource Persons to conduct Investor Awareness Programmes.
ICAI reimburses Rs. 5,000/- per program inclusive of TA/DA, honorarium and other costs to resource person. In respect of North East States the limit is Rs. 7,000/- per program.
Experts interested in enrolling themselves with the Committee as a resource person, may send their resumes along with the Power Point Presentations (on the topic of your interest) and the preferred locations where programmes are proposed to be conducted to Shri Kuldeep Singh in the Secretariat of the Committee through email on cfmip_rp@icai.in

The decision of the Committee with regard to the empanelment of the Resource Person shall be final.
The last date for receipt of proposal for empanelment is 15th May, 2017.
