• Provision of a first class payables operation that is efficient, professional and cost effective, valued by its customers
• Manage multiple stakeholders across the payables process
• Identify and implement opportunities for business process improvement, including business take-on opportunities.
• Planning and implementation of initiatives across the Group to improve efficiency and payment costs to support the long-term objectives of the business, including new systems implementation
• Lead, direct and motivate the team
• Nurture a “people culture” where staff are recognised and valued, including active talent management and staff development
• Deliver significant process improvements to create capacity for future growth
• Build robust controls, Create and embed Risk and Control measure to ensure full SOX compliance, ensure compliance with the Group’s Payment Security Standards.
• Successful implementation of the new system as well as ensuring the decommissioning of existing platforms.
• Build, lead and manage a team of managers
• Ensure Training needs analysis as per skill matrix are taking place.
