• 8+ years post qualification in audit preferably in Big 4
• Technically sound and is very well conversant with Indian accounting/auditing standards and IFRS.
• Has practical experience of working on IFRS engagements
Job profile
Will be part of Professional Practice Group of Assurance departmenT.
• Involved in Risk Management activities
o Performing independent desk-top review of IFRS / Indian GAAP financial statements before sign-off to ensure compliance with accounting standards and other disclosure requirements
o Doing research on technical issues raised by engagement teams for consultation (PPG act as an expert group for technical accounting/auditing issues)
o Preparation of firms guidance on new pronouncements
o Providing technical support to engagement teams for executing IFRS engagements
• Knowledge Management activities
o Providing regular updates on accounting/auditing/regulatory changes to client facing personnel on IFRS
o Conducting IFRS trainings
o Preparation of tools and templates
• Thought leadership / Marketing
o Participate in thought leadership initiatives – newsletter/ technical bulletins/ conferences etc.
o Assistance to engagement teams in IFRS proposals
Salary would range between 25 LPA to 30 LPA.
