A. Key purpose of the job
1) Compliance with excise and service tax law & Sales Tax while meeting the business needs, reconciliation of excise / service tax & Sales Tax records with accounts for a location.
B. Profile of the job holder
Bachelor of Commerce with 5-7 years experience in relevant work area
Preferred : M Com / CA Inter / ICWA Inter
Key responsibilities ( Excise, Service Tax & Sales Tax )
1) Audits / Appeals and replies to notices
2) Availing timely and proper CENVAT credit
3) Business support
4) Compliance with Excise, Service tax law & Sales Tax
5) Export Documentation
6) Job work related compliance
7) Maintaining timely and proper DSA (RG-1)
8) Payments and related accounting
9) Reconciliation with accounts
10) Computation of Monthly Excise / Service Tax Liability / Sales Tax
11) Monthly payment of taxes
12) Filing of periodic tax returns
