Actis is a manager of private equity funds which invest in emerging and growth markets in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Actis was established in 2004 to take over the investment management functions of CDC Group plc, the UK government’s development finance institution. The UK government retained an ownership interest until 2012, since when Actis has been wholly privately-owned. The trainee will be getting good practical exposure on GST, Income tax, accounting and other related areas.
