what is the difference between zero rated supply and nil rated supply

Zero-Rated Supply refers goods and services sold by the companies are free from Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime. i.e.Exports Supplies made to SEZ or SEZ Developers.

whereas nil rated supply refers to supplies that have a declared rate of 0% GST. i.e.: Salt, grains, jaggery etc
