"Your Aadhaar enrolment has been rejected due to poor quality of Address Proof document image. Please reenrol with clearly scanned or a more readable document. List of valid supporting documents is available on UIDAI official website www.UIDAI.gov.in"

But i had given my bank passbook as proof of which was very much clear. Still they rejected. I m tensed now.

Hey Ankush,

This rejection for "poor quality of Address Proof document image" usually means that the scanned or photocopied copy of your bank passbook was not clear enough for the UIDAI officials to verify the details properly—even if it looked clear to you.

Here’s what you can do:

  1. Check the scanned image quality:

    • Make sure the image is sharp, without any blurriness or shadows.

    • All text, especially your name, address, and date, should be fully legible.

    • Avoid dark spots, reflections, or partial images.

  2. Use a better copy or a different document:
Even if your bank passbook is valid, you can try:

    • Using a different page of the passbook that clearly shows your address.

    • Providing a different address proof document accepted by UIDAI (like Aadhaar letter, electricity bill, ration card, voter ID, or passport).

  3. Avoid resubmitting the same low-quality image:
If the quality of your current document was the issue, re-uploading the same won’t help. Scan or photocopy again carefully or take a high-quality photo.

  4. Visit the enrolment center if possible:
Sometimes, physical documents and original copies scanned at the centre have fewer issues than self-scanned copies. You can also get guidance there on acceptable document quality.

Bottom line: Retry your enrolment with a clearly scanned, readable document. If you want, try a different valid address proof document to avoid rejection again.
