Wrongly paid on RCM

what if I paid gst on RCM which is not at all required to pay under RCM and should be paid by the supplier of service ? Can the supplier adjust his liability for the gst which is wrongly paid by the receiver on RCM?

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the issue of incorrectly paying GST under the Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM) when it should have been paid by the supplier. The consensus is that the supplier cannot adjust this liability. The receiver can potentially adjust the wrongly paid GST against their own future RCM liabilities. However, if the receiver has no GST liability (e.g., dealing with exempted goods) and only RCM applies, claiming a refund for wrongly paid RCM is not directly provided for, and adjustment against future RCM is the suggested route.

No,the supplier cant adjust it with his liability, one thing you can do is adjust it with your actuall liability..
Thanks for the response.. But the problem here is I do not have gst liability since I am dealing with exempted goods..Only thing I have is RCM..in that case, the gst paid which I have paid wrongly under RCM, can I claim refund or is there any other way..
There is no provision for refund of RCM paid, you can adjust it with your upcoming rcm liabilities

What is RCM is not applicable now onwards?
