thanks pillu,karthikeyan,rahul,and CA dhiraj for ur replies,i had called at the number given by karthikeyan and they told me to post an application for the same and the rectification will b done, i hv posted my query on e-sahayata as well........................nw waiting for an early response from ICAI,bt i m really worried that if i did not get rectified admit card in time then will i b able to  write exams or not????

Ashima i want to share ma xperience.. wen i was doin CPT,by default of mine i mentioned wrong registration no in exam form at dat time..and i gave an application at noida branch for the rectification of same and they readily acknowledged it...our ICAI is very generous

so i cud understand ur condition rite now coz even i went thru d same...bt after applyng appropriate procedure i was able to get it rectified on time,even before time...actually i gave d application at noida branch by hand,nd infront of me only dey corrected it...it wud be also ok if u sent d application by post,bt make sure do it today dont delay for further...

And for !00 prcnt sure it wud be crrected nd u ll be able to give xam.

i hv posted the application, nw jst waiting for rectified admit card,things hv become topsy turvy all of a sudden............

bt i need to concenterate well on studies still so much left to do.these kind of discrepancies shud not occur it makes whole situation so tensed up...........................
