I had the same issue. The assessee had corrected the name on PAN (got new PAN card with new name)and even after a year later the old name continued on the efiling site, so it was difficult to link aadhar. But due to simplification of aadhar linking, now the card is linked, so we are not pursuing the matter further.
When I had tried to correct the name in database, CPC had asked me to contact TIN at: 020 27218080 -which was not working :(
