A taxpayer has set his incometaxindiaefiling profile as "Non Resident".
Accidentally, the taxpayer this year has filed ITR1 with Resident and already everified return too. But actually taxpayer suppose to file ITR2 only.
What are the options? How to withdraw the ITR1 and how to submit ITR2?
File Fresh ITR2 u/s. 139(5)........ it will automatically, supersede earlier filed ITR1

Date of Filing Original Return will be that of ITR1? And Ack number also that of ITR1?
