Form CHG-1 was filed recently for modification of a charge. The certificate for registration of modification of charge states that 'Given under my hand and seal, at Kolkata, this Fifth day of Jul Two Thousand Thirteen'. What should have been 21st May 2014 has been mentioned as 5th July 2013!! Can anyone advise how to get the certificate rectified? Will registering a compliant at the MCA website help?

Raise complaint in MCA User Complaints & Grievances with concerned ROC , they will resove the issue

First of all check the status of your charge at the Index of charges in the MCA portal....if the same error is depicted there, i would advise you to raise a ticket at the MCA portal for the same....they will lead you to the next step....

Vandana, in the MCA website as well as in the charge certificate, they have mentioned the date of modification of charge correctly. At the place of signing, they have given the date of certificate on a back date.
Than you should raise a ticket at the MCA portal and bring it to their notice.....
