while filling return I by mistake took wrong basic salary and instead of that put net salary. now there is notice because regarding variance in HRA claim. because they are calculating on the wrong basic salary that I provided. I have replied the same to them. but still the have raised demand. what shall I do? please help.

Revise the return & fill correct details and file the ITR
That is the problem I am not able to revise it is for ay 20-21, and it is itr 2

Loginto your panid . There is a menu for ao office correspondence. Chk, revert to that. You cannot revise return all of a sudden .It is in response to a notice.Now while filing returns download excel software and fill the required details chk twice. You can also log in thru any other software.
