plz tell me how can i correct challan assessment year in TDS challlan.
for exp:-
for the accounting year 2014-15 i select by mistake assessment year as 2014-15 in tds challan while pay tds online through internet banking.
plz tell me how can i correct it
If it is an online challan, then bank cannot correct the same. You have to apply to your jurisdictionary TDS officer/ACIT stating the details of the payment and also the correct details. Please attach a copy of the challan also. for manual bank counter payments please refer to my file submission Challan correction mechanism.

If the assessment year is mentioned wrongly it can be get rectified through assessing officer only and it should be made within seven days from the challan deposit date
