in case turnover of any company registered under companies act 1956 exceeds 300crore in fy 16-17, till when the company can appoint women director?
Please provide relevant line of the law as I do not get any provision in this respect exactly in companies act

Time Frame for appointment:  The Companies which were incorporated under The Companies Act 1956 and companies which were covered by Section 149 (1) were provided with the time limit to comply with such provisions within a period of 6 months from the date of its incorporation. Further as per interpretation other existing Companies were required to appoint Women Director within a period of 1 year as mentioned under Section 149(2).
bt in rule 3 word incorporation is written
6m frm date of incorporation
It is for that company which is incorporated under companies act 2013 & for the company incorporated under 1956 they should comply with the above proviso with in 1 Year.
