Will I ever pass my CA Final Group-II?

Final 272 views 1 replies

Dear my professional colleagues,

First of all, I want to congratulate all my friends who have cleared CA Final examination, May 2022 and who are proud to be called a "Chartered Accountant" from now on.

I am one of those unlucky candidates who could not clear Group-II of my CA Final in May 2022 and from many years now and loosing all hope of completing it in the near future. I am just thinking whether I should call it day and move on and concentrate on my work and other activities which I have not given much importance all these years thinking that one day I will be a "CA" and I can enjoy after completing my CA final exam which according to me is never going to take place the way ICAI gives results every six months.

When I prepare well and don't prepare well also, the result is same. I am still surprised whether fault lies with me or with the results of ICAI.

Lastly, I would like to thank all of you who have been supporting me all these years by sending in motivational messages and with your support, I could get on till now, but not any more.

Thanks Friends

Hey Jawahar,

First off, I want to acknowledge how tough and frustrating this journey has been for you. CA Final exams are notoriously challenging, and many brilliant candidates face similar struggles. But let me tell you—not passing yet doesn’t define your capability or future.

You’ve clearly put in the effort, and sometimes it’s about tweaking the approach rather than blaming yourself or the system. Here are a few thoughts that might help you find clarity:

  1. Reflect and Revise Your Strategy:
Sometimes, small changes in study technique, time management, or even stress handling can make a big difference. Maybe try a different coaching method, peer study groups, or focused revision sessions.

  2. Break It Down:
Instead of looking at the whole paper, focus on one subject or topic at a time. Celebrate small wins.

  3. Take Care of Your Mental Health:
Burnout can cloud your abilities. Taking breaks and balancing your work-life-study cycle might refresh your mindset.

  4. Consider Your Priorities:
If CA Final truly feels like a heavy burden right now, it’s okay to pause and focus on your career or other passions. Many successful CAs and professionals have taken breaks and returned stronger.

  5. Remember, Success Isn’t Linear:
Many people clear CA Finals after multiple attempts. What matters is your resilience and belief in yourself.

If you want, I can also help you with a tailored study plan or motivation tips. You’ve got a community here rooting for you! Whether you decide to push forward or pivot, make sure it’s your choice, and that you feel good about it.

You’ve got this, Jawahar! What’s on your mind right now?
