Will Assessing Officer allow New Tax regime benifit for condonation delay for verification ??
One of my client opted new tax regime for AY 2021 22 but has not verified the return. If verification done under condonation delay will A.O allow the benefits of new tax regime.

How can you get confused with both?
Sec 119(2)(b) and another is Sec 115BAC .

Hope the 115BAC is available Only if the ITR filed on time
I wanted to to know whether benifits of section 115BAC will be given for assesment under condonation delay for return everified under condonation delay request.
New scheme will be available even if you verified late.

If time time limit has not elapsed for e verification then condonation for e verification may be granted
If time time limit has not elapsed for e verification then condonation for e verification may be granted
If 10IE filed befor due date, then definately so allow benefit of new regime.
