Another reason for faliure is panic. Even if you are not 100% prepared you can do well with a relaxed mind. All what matter is how you respond in those allotted 3 hours in examination. If you panic you are gone. I have myself realised even if you are not 100% prepared you can do well if you are relaxed. So do not panic in examination hall even if the paper is very tough.

I am agree with you but together with what you have mentioned the reasons of failure somehow you have to agree that LUCK also play a major factor in passing you CA exams compare to other exams.

As i feel CA course is guided by demand and supply ratio :) and everyone knows that demand is lesser then its supply. so you can say that youur little lack in preparations may loose you in exams.

Important point to note here is " Luck does matter but when you are fully confident and prepared well"

but i would surely say that you have done a good job being article.
