Hello Mayur,
Yeah, banking sector has corrected alot on account of huge profit booking.. It is because of FII's are exiting from banking stocks on account of festive season & year ending. I would suggest you to remain invested as we may see a bounce back in banking stocks soon. Fundamentally the stocks like ICICI, IDBI & few more are oversold & i expect them to give decent returns in near future.
Markets are likely to enter a new bull run from January 2011. We may see BSE hits 24500-25000 & NSE hittings 6800-7000 soon.
