You need to understand that under the new syllabus there is also an additional Case Study Question. Now this section is quite new in the India scenarios. However, this is nothing new in foreign courses like CIMA, CMA(USA).
Considering this and the complexities that Costing gives, I can suggest you MI Sir. The reason being:
(a) He is very good with both the new as well as the old syllabus. He has been teaching case study kind of a question for quite long now in CIMA and CMA(USA).
(b) He has good knowledge of the subject since he is also CIMA and CMA(USA) himself.
(c) His classes have been rated quite high by the students.
(d) MI Sir teaches concepts of costing and makes the subject very interesting for the students.
(e) I attended his crash course after attending the regular course at two other institutes. And I realized as if I am learning the real Costing for the first time.
MI Sir is definitely the best faculty for Costing in the world of Costing.

Ca Hariharan Sir is also good, He takes classes in Shraddha academy in Bangalore, MI sir takes classes in Ca institute

MI classes are very good for newcomers in Costing. Clear and crisp content, jovial atmosphere and positive attitude.
MI Sir has the perfect combination to help score bug and if not, full refund!!
He is the best costing faculty I have ever seen.
And Punith is right, even I attended his classes at sometime back. But now he has started his own institute exclusively for Costing for CA Inter and CA Final by the name MI Classes.
I think I will completely agree with my friend @ AbhinavJain that MI Sir is definitely the best Costing Faculty in Bangalore. He is just too good.

CA Hariharan is also a good teacher in Costing. Infact for that matter CA Sampath Sir is also good.
But I don't think that anybody who has attended these faculties and also MI Sir would never disagree that MI Sir is the best amongst the three.
He has loads of practical experience, he brings practical experience into teaching Costing. He worked for BMR Advisors, Shell Aviation as Finance Manager but other teachers are only teaching day and night without any real practical exposure. Most teachers don't have any practical experience in Costing. And that is why they just teach costing like a subject.
I would definitely recommend MI Sir when it comes to Costing. You go to Sampth or Yeshas, but for Costing, attend only him or you will land up attending him later as the last resort.
Since he is also CMA(USA) and CIMA, he is too good with concepts.

Definitely CA MI Sir from MI Classes. He is the best faculty for Costing in Bangalore.
And to know that you can just attend his Crash Course, you will realize as if you are learning Costing in so much depth for the first time.

if you want to prepare CA final costing by self study then you can refer Purushottam Agarwal sir books and notes, his materials are self sufficient for self study and you can score good marks but problem is his materials are not available easily but you can find his materials from delhi. I have received notification on sir facebook page for handwritten notes...you can see here.
