Which type of work is in Article ship????

Its sad to know. You might have enquired about the firm before you joining. But it's late. Small firms does not mean small firms, it means medium firms like reputed firms one such example is Brahmayya & Co. and many more who knows every one. It depends on the Location you are in to know which reputed medium size firms are there. You wait for some more time there and if still not giving any work, you try for transfer in first year itself, because afterwards you won't get it. 

am still waiting for last 6 months for the same .. but  it is not happening .... actually i have tald many times they told me we provide you tht work after your exams ... but my exams is over they yet not provide me tht work...

Can you tell me some links where i can go my rest period of traning .... In delhi too..

What you get to learn entirely depends on your sir. Articleship is the making of a CA, provided he is given due attention and good quality work by his/her Sir. Only accounting work will not do you any help. You need to handle different types of assignment which you come accross during your study to enable you to develope the talent in you. But again you can not do it on your own, you need support of your Sir. It does not matter whether the firm is small or large one, what matters is what oppurtunities and quality assignment it provides you, what are the oppurtunities for you to develope yourself.

Now i will suggest, just try to convince and persuade your sir to provide you some good and challanging assignments and hope for the best.

thank you sir for reply... yes your are right it will not be possible without my sir support .. but he is not supporting ..he will not provide that quality work and challenging environment which i love the most ... now wht do i do at this stage ???

Dear Mansi, let me knw ur location so dat i can suggest u sumthing. For instance, if u r 4m kolkata, den there are many medium sized firms wherein u'll get a lot of exposure. 

u try to convince ur sir, or else u should take a harsh step..... 

In that case only option is to change the firm. But try to convince him once again, if need be ask your parents to talk to him and convey your concern. Make one last effort. Place your concerns politely to make him realise that what you want is to gain some knowledge and develope yourself through challanging assignments.

hardik , even today also i am talking wid my sir about that , but they dont give me other work .... i think i should take transfer , he said he dont have any objection about that ... can u please tell me any vacany in Ca firm ,in  which i applied

AS OTHER MEMBERS TOLD JUST TRY TO PERSUADE UR SIR AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE,..ITS BETER IF YOU JUST ASK YOUR PARENTS TO CONTACT YOUR SIR ONCE,....

OR ELSE JUST TERMINATE AND SEARCH FOR A GOOD FIRM BEFORE HAND,....THATS ALL YOU CAN DO,..

DO OR TERMINATE,....BE CAREFUL NEXT TIME,.....AUDIT IS THE CORE OF CA,.....U NEED TO DO AUDITS IN ORDER TO GET SOME PRACTICAL EXPOSURE,...SO TRY UR BEST EITHER WAYS,....

This is the main problem during the articleship. Even I had face the same problem. I have a suggetion to countinue there because while getting transfer u will face the problem of leave.

it happens with lots of girls even in case of my frnds ...her sir wont give them work properly.

but after 1 yr they start giving  her work.

well ...but still if u worried its better to take transfer ...bcz u can take freely transfer in 1 yr of articleship

thanx to all for your reply .  .... but at tht my situation is too confusing  bcoz i have already completed my 6 months here and suppose i can take transfer and the some problem arise there thn wht did i do on tht tym ?? i try to conyevance my sir first and i can also take my parents advise and there support .. afterthat am going on decision to change or not
