Which syllabus is suitable for me old or new (cs final)

I have registered for executive programon july 2012 and comleted executive programme on June 2013. I have not attended any programmes like SIP.. not even articles.. Now I would like to give attempt professional programme on December 2014. I am CA Final student as well and completed 3 years and 6 months articles.

1) Acutally I will come under Old Scheme , I want suggestions regarding which syllabus suits for me Old Or New. Pls provide justification if its is Old or New....

2) Morover I would like to continue in the Old syllabus because of the tenure of articles 15 months and subjects of professional programme (8)... please suggest me

3) Is Articles compulsory for me as I am completed 3 years and 6 months while in CA course?
