Should the person maintain books for claiming just the travelling allowance as an expenditure? Also I would like to know if he can pay tax u/s 44AD, i.e. 8% of his gross receipts

If the profession is in the list of 'specified profession' then ITR4 or else ITR4S. If ITR4, then books are to be maintained under 44AA.

The assessee is offering the entire income received as retainer fees for the purpose of IT. is it still necessary to maintain the books? Thanks in advance
